Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Going through things in your mind in solitude can result in thoughts going around in circles. The goals for your future may seem difficult to achieve - or even figuring out the objectives proves laborious. Sometimes it is well reasoned to talk troubling things through with a counsellor.
In brief therapy, matters are handled to the extent that is necessary. As the client, you have the power to define the number of sessions: we can deal with the issues in a single session or, if you prefer, have up to twenty discussions - you are the master of your situation and needs. Brief therapists offer mental health support. In accordance with professional ethics, I will guide you to another service should more expert proficiency benefit you.
Solution-focused therapy attempts to define the challenges of life in a new manner, and together we will search for the things to be focused on in order to move forward. The problem is perceived as a hope for change that we will implement by drawing attention to your assets and strengths. In solution-focused counselling, we explore the present and the future - the past is dealt with to the extent that is necessary and even then merely to search for a road map to the future.
Solution-focused brief therapy provides help with many dilemmas and situations in life, for instance:

All age groups are welcome. You may come to counselling by yourself or together with someone important. At will, couples and groups can book two consecutive time slots in order to have more time to discuss all angles. Conversations can also take place online if that is better suited for you and you have access to appropriate equipment as well as a quiet place for the session.
Brief therapy is not rehabilitative psychotherapy provided by Kela and no entries or recordings will be made in MyKanta. Our conversations take place with total confidence, in a tranquil and safe atmosphere. You can come to the practice just as you are.
